Our services include:

• Specialist steel and material supply, including carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex stainless steel, abrasion-resistant steel, quenched and tempered steel, pressure vessel steel, chrome moly, nickel alloys, titanium, copper alloys and other specialty metals.
• Supply of plate, coil, pipe, fittings, flanges, forgings, cast fittings, tubes, tube sheets, structural beams, hollow sections, channels, angles, fasteners and related project materials.
• Selected fabricated and pre-assembled packages, including tanks, pressure vessels, chutes, hoppers, liners, platework, structural steel, piping spools, materials handling components and selected process plant components.
• Project supply and fabrication coordination using local, global or hybrid supply pathways, including established supplier relationships across Australia and Asia.
• Supplier engagement, package assessment, specification review and delivery planning.
  • Quality assurance and quality control coordination, including inspection and test plans, hold points, witness points, material test certificates, traceability, supplier documentation and manufacturing data book close-out.
• Logistics and delivery support, including supplier coordination, expediting, export packing, freight planning, Australian receiving and close-out documentation.
• Emergency and hard-to-find material sourcing for operational, shutdown, brownfield and sustaining capital requirements.

KBS Ngurra provides clients with one Australian commercial interface, supported by technical delivery input, supplier coordination, quality visibility and documentation control.

Operators and qualifications/experience

KBS Ngurra is not primarily a labour hire or plant operator business.

Our core capability is specialist steel supply, selected fabricated packages, project supply coordination, supplier management, quality assurance and quality control visibility, logistics and Australian close-out.

Where required, KBS Ngurra can support client discussions with specialist technical personnel experienced in steel supply, fabrication pathways, material selection, supplier capability, quality assurance and quality control, documentation, logistics and delivery planning.

For project-specific requirements, KBS Ngurra can also work with suitably qualified local delivery partners, installers, fabricators or site-based contractors where that creates the best project outcome.

KBS Ngurra has more than 20 years of steel industry experience at director and technical leadership level, supported by mining, commercial, fabrication, project supply and global supply chain capability.

Previous work and brief description

KBS Ngurra is an emerging majority Indigenous-owned business supported by direct supply experience, director-led experience, related-entity delivery experience and established supplier pathways.

Relevant experience includes:

• Direct KBS Ngurra supply experience with Altrad, who were engaged as a design and construction contractor on a Rio Tinto salt project.
• Director-led and related-entity experience across specialist steel, fabrication, project materials and heavy industry supply environments.
• Related project exposure across mining, energy, water and infrastructure environments, including Snowy Hydro 2.0, Iluka Rare Earths, BHP South Flank, Greenbushes Lithium, Chevron Wheatstone and Woodside Pluto.
• Related-entity experience supporting the supply of processed and prefabricated materials for 30 field-erected tanks at the Eneabba Rare Earths Refinery, including stainless steel and duplex plate, machined parts, processed items and pipe. Materials were coordinated through international supplier pathways before delivery into Western Australia for fabrication completion.

This experience demonstrates capability in specialist steel sourcing, supplier coordination, international supply pathways, fabrication-ready delivery, quality documentation, logistics coordination and Australian project close-out.
