The Minangu Land Committee invites expressions of interest for the role of Minangu ‘Alternate Member’ for the Minangu Joint Management Body (JMB). Wajarri Yamaji Aboriginal Corporation (WYAC) and Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) are signatories to an Indigenous Land Use Agreement, which gives effect to the JMB.
Alternate positions participate in Joint Management Planning meetings up to three times per year and may be invited to attend the Joint Management Body meetings if a nominated Representative is unavailable. Activities may also include field trips and other on-country events. Members are paid for their attendance and participation.
