As of 15 November 2021 a number of our member programs have been reinstated, in particular our Youth and Seniors Programs.
Cultural Fund
The purpose of this program is to support the preservation of WY culture. This program is to assist WY people in hosting, attending and participating in culturally significant events or ceremonies (e.g. NAIDOC week).
Culturally significant events and ceremonies will be determined on a case by case basis by the organisation. This program cannot be used to assist in the costs related to attending or participating in funerals.

Medical Travel Assistance
The purpose of this program is to support WY people who require assistance with essential medical costs or experience a medical crisis or emergency.
This program can assist a WY person who requires immediate medical attention, is experiencing a medical emergency and needs to travel to receive treatment is eligible to obtain this benefit. Up to one primary support person who is travelling with them to assist them with their care maybe also eligible for assistance.
APPOINTMENTS ARE NOT AN ENTITLEMENT UNDER THIS POLICY.
Medical Fund
The purpose of this program is to support WY people with the cost of essential medical and health care expenses.
This program is to assist WY people with personal medical costs including prescription glasses, dental care, walking frames and other essential medical treatment.
Funeral Fund
The purpose of this program is to support WY people and families with the costs of funerals. This program is to assist with the funeral director costs.
Youth Program – 15 years & under
The purpose of this program is to support WY youth (15 years and under) participate in courses and programs that promote self-confidence, life-skills, leadership, personal development, and wellbeing. It can be used to assist in the fees for attending the course and other directly related costs of WY Youth participating in the program or course.
The program or course provider must be a properly constituted organisation.
Youth Program – 16 to 25 years
The purpose of this program is to support WY youth (25 years and under) participate in courses and programs that promote self-confidence, life-skills, leadership, personal development, and wellbeing. It can be used to assist in the fees for attending the course and other directly related costs of WY Youth participating in the program or course.
The program or course provider must be a properly constituted organisation.
Seniors Program
The purpose of this program is to support WY people who are 60 years and over. This program is to assist with the costs of approved essential household, vehicle expenses, living aid items and household expenses and utilities.
Language & Arts
The purpose of this program is to support WY people who wish to enhance their understanding of Indigenous culture with art, language, song, dance and or visual arts.
The program is to assist with the course or event fees, productions costs, materials required for creating, producing, performing, or exhibiting Indigenous language and art.
Primary Education Fund
The Primary Education program is only available to Member Minors and WY CLH Minors who are attending Primary School.
Secondary Education Fund
The Secondary Education program is only available to Member Minors and WY CLH Minors who are attending Secondary Education School. The Program is to assist with the Fees, uniforms, and stationery. We can not accept quotes from any Sporting stores.
Post Education Fund
The Post-Secondary Education program is available to WY people. The purpose of this program is to support WY people who wish to enrol or are currently enrolled in post school studies or training to obtain an accredited qualification.
This program is to assist with the enrolment and registration fees, textbooks, booklists, uniforms, tuition fees and activities directly related to formal education or training program and gaining the qualification.
