After 7 years it’s time to celebrate the conclusion of the ILUA negotiations and the signing of the agreement. We invite all Wajarri People to join in.

Along with the Minangu Land Committee and a number of VIPS, travel with us to the Murchison Settlement to celebrate this landmark event on Minangu Country.

The Wajarri Community Office team will be putting on aprons and manning the sausage sizzle, entertainment will include a dance performance and music.

Bus transport will be provided from several locations – no travel payments will be made to those people travelling by bus. Updates on departure points will be posted on our Facebook page . RSVP to the Wajarri Office if you plan to travel by bus.

Travel assistance (TA) will be available to Wajarri Yamaji travelling in their own vehicles attending the event, this is capped at $200 per person and payable after the event.
